Felipe Espreafico Guelerman Ramos

I am a third year PhD Student in Mathematics at IMPA in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My advisor is Professor Hossein Movasati. From October 2022 to Augst 2023, I am at Heidelberg University, with supervision from Professor Johannes Walcher.

My current research interests center around Algebraic and Complex Geometry. I have been working in Mirror Symmetry, especifically on open Gromov Witten invariants. More recently, I've been trying to learn some Enumerative Geometry related to these fields, specially understand the relations among the many different refinments that one can find in the literature. I've also worked on the project Gauss Manin Connection in Disguise (GMCD). Finally, other fields I have insterest in are Singularity theory, Hodge theory and Symplectic Geometry.

I finished my undergratuate studies at ICMC - USP in São Carlos, Brazil, with a semester spent in Leibniz Universität in Hannover, Germany. For more information on my background, see my (more or less up-to-date) CV.

Teaching

I was a TA for the Differential Topology course in Summer 2022.
