„Artin's conjecture“
Dr. Vincent Pilloni, ENS Lyon
In his search for non-abelian reciprocity laws, Emil Artin defined the L-function of a finite dimensional representation of the Galois group of a number field. He conjectured strong analytic properties for these L-functions. Langlands reformulated later the conjecture using automorphic forms. We will discuss the simplest cases of this conjecture.
